Seamailer has no contact limits and no daily sending caps. That only works if every customer sends email people asked for. This policy sets the rules. It forms part of our Terms of Service; breaking it can lead to paused sending, suspension or termination.
1. Permission is required
1.1 Only send marketing email to people who have clearly agreed to receive it from you, or where the law in their country otherwise allows it.
1.2 You must not use:
- purchased, rented, traded or borrowed lists;
- scraped or harvested email addresses;
- lists from third parties, event attendee lists or business-card collections, unless each person agreed to hear from you;
- role addresses (such as info@ or sales@) you did not get permission to email.
1.3 Keep a record of how and when each Contact opted in, and show it to us if we ask.
1.4 We recommend double opt-in (confirming a sign-up by email). Seamailer's forms support it.
1.5 Stale lists harm deliverability. Don't email people who have not engaged with you for a long time without re-confirming their interest.
2. What every email must include
- Accurate sender information. The From name, From address and Reply-To must identify you truthfully.
- An honest subject line that reflects the content.
- Your valid postal address.
- A clear, working unsubscribe link. Seamailer adds one automatically; do not remove or hide it.
- Prompt opt-outs. Seamailer processes unsubscribes immediately. Never re-add or re-import unsubscribed Contacts.
3. Sender domains and authentication
3.1 Send from a domain you own and have verified in Seamailer.
3.2 Set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your sending domain as shown in the app.
3.3 Do not send bulk email from free mailbox addresses (such as Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook), as those providers' policies will cause it to be rejected.
4. Performance limits
To protect our sending reputation for all customers, your campaigns must stay within these limits:
| Measure | Limit |
|---|---|
| Bounce rate | Below 1% |
| Spam complaint rate | Below 0.1% |
If a campaign or account goes over either limit, we may pause sending, ask you to clean your list, and review your Account before sending resumes. Repeated or severe breaches may lead to suspension or termination.
5. Prohibited content
You may not use Seamailer to send or host content that:
- is illegal, or promotes illegal goods or services;
- is phishing, or tries to collect passwords or financial details deceptively;
- contains malware or links to it;
- impersonates another person or organisation;
- promotes pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes, fake investment opportunities or guaranteed returns;
- is sexually explicit;
- promotes hate, violence or harassment against people or groups;
- infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy;
- sells prescription drugs, controlled substances, weapons or counterfeit goods without the licences the law requires.
6. Restricted industries
These industries have high complaint rates. We may require extra review, proof of consent or licences, or decline to serve them:
- cryptocurrency and trading promotions;
- lending, debt relief and credit repair;
- gambling and betting;
- dating;
- dietary supplements and health claims;
- affiliate marketing and lead generation;
- multi-level marketing.
7. Platform abuse
You may not:
- create multiple or fake accounts to get free Email Credits or referral rewards;
- refer yourself, or promote referral links through spam;
- test, probe or attack the Service's security;
- scrape the Service, or use it in ways that overload it;
- share your login outside your team, or resell the Service without our consent;
- use forms or landing pages built on Seamailer to collect data deceptively.
8. Laws that apply
You must follow every anti-spam and privacy law that applies to your emails, including:
- CAN-SPAM Act (United States);
- CASL (Canada);
- GDPR and the ePrivacy / PECR rules (European Union and United Kingdom);
- Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable Nigerian Communications Commission rules;
- the laws of any other country where your Contacts live.
This policy is a minimum; the law may require more.
9. Enforcement
Depending on how serious the issue is, we may:
- contact you and ask you to fix it;
- pause a campaign or all sending;
- require list cleaning or proof of consent before sending resumes;
- suspend your Account;
- terminate your Account, without a refund.
Where we can, we warn you first. For serious abuse, such as phishing, malware or large spam runs, we may act immediately.
10. Report abuse
If you received unwanted email sent through Seamailer, or see misuse of the Service, email support@seamailer.app. Include the full email with headers if possible. We investigate every report.
